Ever since I could hold a pencil I loved to draw – albeit my first “pieces” were not my finest work! My family is very artistic and creativity has always been encouraged and supported academically.

As well as my love for art I also studied photography which I felt went hand in hand with my drawings. My favourite subject would be to photograph my beautiful Mainecoon cat and draw his portrait from the best photos – as it’s impossible for him to sit still for an entire drawing! From there I gathered interest from people and started taking commissions.

I love hearing the stories from my customers about the subjects I’m drawing, it gives an interesting connection to the work and although there have been some sad stories it is lovely to know that I’ve managed to create a piece for someone that will spark a memory of happiness every time they look at it.
